Jessie Fanczi Latimer is a writer and freelance editor living with her husband and son in metro-Atlanta. She is a follower of Christ, lover of books, and killer of houseplants. As a child, she was constantly getting into trouble for reading when she was supposed to be doing other things.

Jessie holds a BFA and MFA in Creative Writing from Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, where she edited an edition of The James Dickey Review. She once lived in a bedroom with a bookshelf that opened to a secret passageway, and she loves sharing book reviews on her Bookstagram and BookTok pages (@picnicswithpaperbacks). Her academic and creative publications have been featured in The Georgia Historical Quarterly, UReCA: The NCHC Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity, The Blue Marble Review, Copia, Sanctuary Magazine, and various faith-based blogs.  Her debut YA fantasy novel is out on submission.
